1994年9月8日这一天,对刚满5周岁的外孙女姣姣来说,是值得永远纪念的一天。从这天起,开始了她一生的学校生活。姣姣去的学校是美国加州佛利蒙市杰姆斯学校,距我们的住处,步行六七分钟可到。我们送姣姣到学校的那天,有几位家长正在和一位黑头发、蓝跟睛、胖身材的女士谈话。那位女士看到我们走进教室,就赶忙着走过来,用英文自我介绍说:“我是这个班的老师,名字叫玛雅,欢迎你们的到来!”并顺手将姣姣领过去,靠在自己身上,显得异常亲热。
