利用体外大白鼠垂体-卵巢复合培养的方法,观察不同性周期垂体和卵巢的功能联系,这种方法能避免体内其它因素的干扰,又能较好、较专一地模拟体内垂体与卵巢的直接功能联系。所获得的生殖激素(LH、E_2)的基础分泌曲线,与整体动物血中的 LH 和E_2的浓度变化曲线相似,此方法有可能成为一种研究生殖激素调节的体外模型。经自体的或异体的垂体一卵巢复合培养的观察表明,垂体在不同周期(P、E、M、D)中均以一种较为恒定的水平释放 LH,这种恒定的基础分泌,对 P 时期的卵巢分泌 E_2有促进作用,而这种升高的 E_2却不能改变垂体 LH 的基础分泌量。恒定的促性腺激素的基础分泌,是否对不同时期的卵巢分泌各种性激素有不同的作用,尚有待进一步观察。
