东汉许慎编撰的《说文解字》是我国第一部自成体系,合乎科学精神的字典。而且,它也是一部训话名著,它集周秦文献词义训释之大成,保存了字的古义,对释字方式及其条例也有多項发明,影响极为深远。以形索义,是一种通过分析文字的形体结构来解释词义的训诂方法。本文将以《说文解字》为例,浅析训诂之形训。主要论述什么是形训,《说文解字》对形训的运用,形训的作用和局限进行讨论。
Xu Shen, Eastern Han Dynasty compiled “Shuo Wen Jie Zi” is China’s first self-contained system, in line with the spirit of science dictionaries. Moreover, it is also a masterpiece of lectures. It is a collection of words interpreted by the Zhou Qin literary meaning, preserving the ancient meaning of the word. It also has many inventions on the way of interpreting words and their regulations and has far-reaching influence. In order to define the meaning, is a kind of interpretation of meaning by analyzing the physical structure of the text. This article will be “Shuowen Jiezi” as an example, a brief analysis of the training Xun’s training.
