一个没要国家一分钱投资办起来的民办信用社,创业仅3年时间,全靠吸收社会闲散资金,发放了科技贷款累计约2.5亿元,象及时雨般支持了9个国家级「火炬计划」项目、几十个科研项目、数百家民办科技企业及云南民办科技园建设所需资金,成绩是显著的。科技资金投入不足,制约了科技进步和科技成果转化为现实生产力。作为云南省科技与金融体制改革试点,昆明科技产业城市信用社,以现代企业模式鹤立金融界,其改革的气势、成果证明,拓宽民办科技机构的投资、融资渠道,对于发展民办科技事业、振兴云南经济具有重要作用。94全国优秀青年企业家、首届云南十大杰出青年、昆明科技产业城市信用社总经理张亚光,为本刊撰写的《民办金融服务于民办科技的成功尝试》一文,得到了云南省科委原党组书记、主任张敖罗同志的赞赏。本刊期望国有金融机构也为本刊撰稿,介绍支持民办科技事业的经验和体会。
