Modern nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has been applied to various diseases of the central nervous system and eye structure examination. In order to test its reliability for the diagnosis of intraocular tumors, the authors selected 11 cases of intraocular tumors diagnosed by ophthalmoscopy, fluoroscopy, field of view, and ultrasound scan for NMR. Of these, 7 were choroidal melanoma and the other 4 were choroidal hemorrhage, malignant lymphoma, choroidal hemangioma and metastatic breast cancer.
