目前人类已能合成1700万种化学物质,在我们身边的就有5~10万种,这些物质中一部分已证明有干扰内分泌作用,但多数尚不清楚。日本平成9年有关内分泌问题的通产省研修班建立了对雌激素受体的竞争阻滞系统,带有雌激素受体信息遗传因子的MCF-7细胞及酵母菌检测系统,加上采用摘除卵巢动物观察此类物质对子宫增重的方法,将内分泌物质大体上分成:①天然的雌激素。②植物性雌激素。③合成的雌激素。④工业化素物质。⑤杀虫剂。⑥农药及其代谢产物。这些物质除对雌性内分泌系统有影响外,对雄性的影响也不可低估。
