Alexander Nevsky is a large vocal suite written by Prokofiev for the choir, alto solo and orchestra. This magnificent work relies on the continuous tone of homophonic sound and the second tone as the main core material in the process of music development. This concentrated material makes the Cantata strong consistency. A comprehensive analysis of Lost’s continuous tone technique, continuous tone in the band’s fabric, and the use of second-tone materials in this work enables the reader to clearly see that the condensed and refined technique of writing has a strong influence on the cohesion of the multi-musical piece Plasticity.
