1996年1月24日上午,重修原红十五军政治部革命遗址(城隍庙)及建立历代碑林奠基仪式在靖城县后街隆重举行。原中共中央统战部副部长、中央党史资料征集委员会副主任童小鹏,原漳州市政协副主席、统战部部长周力文,漳台同根文化研究会副会长、香港乐华投资有限公司董事长、芗城海外联谊名誉会长王金生先生,漳州市政协委员张柏均先生,南靖县委书记、县长谭培根,副县长陈炎山、王学燊和县直机关、人大、政协领导、来宾以及靖城镇党委、政府、各村代表等60余人出席了奠基仪式。
