概述了当前世界上铁路牵引动力的发展趋势,指出电力牵引只是在欧洲占优势,在亚洲,电力牵引与内燃牵引平分秋色,而在世界其它各洲,尤其是美洲,则是内燃牵引占绝对优势。文中还给出了世界上一些主要国家目前的内燃和电力机车保有量以及这些国家1992~2006年期间这两种机车年平均订购数量的估算值。文章在着重介绍美国内燃机车在世界市场上的地位和分布情况的同时,指出了内燃牵引将朝着单机大功率(最大达6000马力)和低排放方向发展。
The development trends of railway traction power in the world are summarized. Electric traction is only dominated in Europe. In Asia, electric power traction and internal combustion power are equally divided. In other continents of the world, especially in the Americas, internal combustion traction plays an absolutely dominant role. The article also gives estimates of the current average quantities of internal combustion and electric locomotives in some of the major countries in the world and the average number of these locomotives ordered in these countries from 1992 to 2006. This article focuses on the status and distribution of the U.S. diesel locomotives in the world market and points out that the internal combustion traction will develop towards single high power (up to 6000 horsepower) and low emission.
