“Gentleman erudite Japanese Senate” is “Xunzi Encouraging Learning” in a sentence, the “Senate”, high school language textbook interpreted as “inspection, inspection,” read as “cān.” The author believes that textbooks such comments are defective. Here the “Senate” should be interpreted as “three”, read as “Sān.” The reasons are as follows: First of all, from the sentence meaning, the interpretation of “Senate” as “check” and the lower meaning of the word “ Because ”the source“, ”Dictionary of ancient Chinese“ in the ”province“ word Xǐng tone are also interpreted as ”check.“ And we can not be ”Senate“ Synonymous word processing, because the ancient Synonymous complex words in Chinese become more and more disyllabic words in modern Chinese, but there is no ”Senate“ in modern Chinese, and ”Senate“ is not found in other ancient books and other articles of Xunzi. Synonymous On the contrary, if we interpret ”Senate“ as ”three“, we can not only avoid the repetition in the above sense but also make the text more accessible. ”Three“ in ancient Chinese multi-use as an imaginary number, said the number of times. In this way, ”Japanese seniors“ can be translated as ”checking ourselves repeatedly many times a day,“ which translates to ”checking oneself everyday" rather than interpreting it according to the textbooks of secondary schools.
