什么是绘画的“艺术语言”?它的特定涵意是什么?以我的理解,无过于画家把自己对某阶段社会领域、自然现象的关注、理解、看法,通过掌握的某种绘画的技法、造型能力、构成因素、形成法则等,以自己特有的形式和程序把它从画面上表达出来,达到与观赏者以交流,或产生共识和理解。这大概是广义的解释。语言的精辟、生动与否?其一,这与画家自身对表达对象的认识,理解的深度有关;其二,与画家掌握理解绘画自身的“语言规则”、“辞汇量”多少的精活程度有关。我把绘画中运用的技法、造型能力、构成因素、形式法则等可以传授,绘画时都能利用带有“共性”的东西,统理解为“技术因素”或者称“技术含量”,把画家所独有的,不能直接传授替代的审美意识,世界观、艺术真理的崇尚性,观察和思考问题的方位性,理解为“艺术修养因素”,或称“文化精神”。
