先天性唇裂小儿,颌面部神经肌肉电兴奋性障碍的程度和唇裂严重程度直接相关,如成形术后兴奋性不能完全恢复,14～16岁时可发生口轮肌萎缩,甚至表情肌和咀嚼肌功能障碍。因此,作者在术前开始矫治唇裂小儿的面部肌肉功能障碍共551例,年龄4.5～8月。为恢复口周肌肉收缩功能,用电流刺激仪“”,振动频率1～10Hz,脉冲30～100ms;或用间动电流疗法,每日1次,每疗程6～8次。伴有支气管肺病或佝偻病的小儿,术前施行紫外线照射疗法,亚红斑生物剂量。体格衰弱、伴有神经系统和心血管疾病的小儿,施行电离子透入疗法,在肩胛间区透入钠、钾、钙、镁等。
