“你们从此开始了一个艰难的历程。你们面对许多对手。我祝你们走好运!”10年前,国际奥委会主席萨马兰奇接受北京奥申委递交承办2000年奥运会申请书时,曾意味深长地这样说。经历了整整10年的希望与失望,失败与努力之后,期盼已久的中国人终于看到萨马兰奇走上国际奥委会全会的主席台,向全世界公布了一个历史性的决定:2008年奥运会——北京。言语是不足以形容全体中国人心中的喜悦的。7月13日这个普通的夜晚突然成了盛大的节日。有了脸上会心的笑容和流淌的热泪,素不相识的人们不再需要更多拥抱庆贺的理由。整个中国都在狂欢。
