The first phase project of the South Europe River Cascade Hydropower Station is located in the Luang Prabang and Phongsari areas in the northern part of Laos. It has developed three power stations of Grade 2, 5 and 6 with a total installed capacity of 540,000 kW and an average generating capacity of 2 billion kWh for many years.
