神经系统的发育及其正常功能的维持受到精确的控制,其调控异常导致的神经系统疾病成为危害健康的重要因素。研究神经系统的发育及其疾病发生的分子机制是生命科学的热点。糖基转移酶是一组催化糖链合成及糖链与蛋白质或者脂质形成复合物的酶类。糖基转移酶可以调节神经细胞表面多种蛋白质及脂质的糖基化,参与神经系统的发生及多种疾病发病过程的调控。对糖基转移酶在神经系统发育和疾病中的作用做一综述。
The development of the nervous system and the maintenance of its normal functions are precisely controlled. The nervous system diseases caused by abnormal regulation of the nervous system become an important factor that endangers the health. Research on the development of the nervous system and the molecular mechanism of its occurrence are the hot topics of life science. Glycosyltransferases are a group of enzymes that catalyze the synthesis of sugar chains and the formation of complexes of sugar chains with proteins or lipids. Glycosyltransferases regulate the glycosylation of various proteins and lipids on the surface of nerve cells, and are involved in the development of the nervous system and the regulation of the pathogenesis of various diseases. The role of glycosyltransferases in nervous system development and disease is reviewed.
