To study the morphological and biological characteristics of apple cultivars, and a series of physiological processes - photosynthesis, transpiration intensity and so on are all related to the measurement of leaf area. Different methods are often used to determine leaf area in scientific research, but most of the existing methods are cumbersome and can only be applied under laboratory conditions.
