On July 9 this year, the Fortune magazine’s ranking of the top 500 companies in the world was freshly released. The U.S. is still without a doubt the biggest winner with 132 companies in the list. In China, 79 companies (including 6 in the Taiwan region) surpassed Japan for the first time in terms of number of companies listed, while Japan ranked 68th. third.
