郑维新烈士(一九一一至一九三二年),男,福州市仓山区岭后人。从小勤奋读书,十七岁毕业于英华中学。一九二九年进入协和大学,因参加革命活动,编辑《求是报》,就学一年即被校方开除。后在仓山独青小学会教导主任。一九二八年加八共青团,约一九三○年加入共产党。是共青团福州市委负责人,又是学生运动的领袖、抗日救国运动的骨干。
