On July 2, 1992, the Sino-American Chamber of Latin American Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences held the “North American Free Trade Area Symposium.” More than 50 experts, scholars and researchers from domestic scientific research institutes, foreign affairs departments and news organizations attended the conference.
