On the afternoon of September 14, 2017, Su Biao, executive vice chairman and secretary general of the Hechuan District Ornamental Stone Art Society in Chongqing, walked out of the conference room of the China Ornamental Stone Association. He could not suppress his inner joy and smiled. A few minutes ago, President Shou Jiahua solemnly announced that the Hechuan ironstone, examined and approved by the Hechuan Art Association of Chongqing Municipality, was approved as another new stone plant in China (Figures 1 and 2).
