Why did human ancestors abandon their limbs and choose to walk upright? There are so many theories about this issue that so far they are still inconclusive. We learned from an early age that the lost ape was forced to live on the ground. In order to adapt to the new environment, it gradually learned to use forelimbs to collect fruits, capture animals and grasp rocks as a weapon to defend against the invasion of wild animals. As a result, the forelimb and hind limb division of labor, gradually evolved into an upright walk. But some scientists think the reason for walking upright is not that simple. Upright walking is to save energy, and new research suggests that walking upright is due to the temperature is too high at the time.
