一直以来,精读课都是高职英语专业的核心课程,通过该门课程的学习,学生的语言基本功和综合能力都会得到相应的提高。作为讲授此门课程的教师,能否上好该门课程将直接影响到学生的基本功及其它英语相关课程的学习。本文以高职英语精读课程的重要性和当前高职英语精读教学的现状与问题为出发点,提出如何强化高职英语精读课程教学,以促进高职专业英语课程教学。
All along, intensive reading courses are the core courses of higher vocational English major. Through the study of this course, the students’ basic language skills and comprehensive ability will be improved accordingly. As a teacher who teaches this course, whether or not the course is good will directly affect students’ basic skills and other English-related courses. Based on the importance of intensive English reading course in higher vocational colleges and current situation and problems of English intensive reading teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper proposes how to strengthen the teaching of intensive English courses in higher vocational colleges so as to promote the teaching of specialized English courses in higher vocational schools.
