建立强度理论和改进强度试验的方法在岩石破坏的全部问题中占有重要地位.在进行研究的基础上产生了关于岩石性质以及岩石破坏机理的新的认识.本文探讨强度理论与破坏机理的关系,给出制定应力图表的方法及其说明.在解决矿山技术问题时,莫尔理论得到了最广泛的应用,它是最大剪应力理论的另一种表现形式.根据这一理论,破坏面与压力状态无关,与最大压应力成45°角;材料在拉伸和压缩时,性质是一样的.岩石不满足这些条件,因此最大剪应力理论对于岩石是不适用的.
