Science and technology are the crystallization of a national wisdom and an important part of the culture they create. Zhou Enlai soberly recognized the great role of science in pushing forward history and also understands China’s serious backwardness in science and technology and attaches great importance to the development of science and technology in new China. During his 26 years as a government prime minister, he has made outstanding contributions by devoting great efforts to the construction and development of science and technology. I.
