我国八五期间国家级科研课题《中国成人教育理论专著》丛书由国家教委成人教育司、中宣部教育局、中组部干部教育局和劳动部、人事部、国家经贸委、农业部的成人教育部门,以及北京市成人教育局、天津市第二教育局、中国成人教育协会、北京市成人教育学会共同组建编纂领导小组,同时组建了有北京、天津、上海、南京、山东、武汉、广州、成都、黑龙江、大连等省市参加的编纂委员会。1995年1月10日在北京举行了《中国成人教育理论专著》暨《中国自学考试》首发式,由领导小组组长、国家教委成人教育司司长董明传主持会议,领导小组副组长、编委会主任委员、北京市成人教育学会会长关世雄作了编纂工作报告。袁宝华同志和中央有关部门成人教育负责同志以及北京市成人教育局局长马叔平同志到会对《中国成人教育理论专著》首发式表示祝贺。据悉《中国成人教育理论专著》编委会即将陆续出版《中国近代成人教育史》、《工业企业职工教育管理》、《国际成人教育比较研究》、《干部教育概论》、《继续教育概论》、《成人教育教学概论》、《成人学习心理概论》、《农村成人教育概论》等,本刊现将《中国成人教育理论专著》丛书总序先行发表,以飨读者。
