厦门,是我国东南沿海美丽的海港风景城市,是我国最早的经济特区之一。2007年,厦门市以其开放和包容的胸怀,被评选为全国“最受农民工欢迎的城市”之一,也从另一个侧面反映了厦门市劳动保障局在对农民工就业服务工作上深受农民工朋友的肯定。随着厦门市新一轮跨越式发展的强劲起步,奋战在经济建设最前沿的八十多万名农民工,他们已经从厦门经济发展的生力军发展成为主力军。长期以来,厦门市劳动保障局将改善农民工就业环境、完善农民工就业服务体系,维护农民工合法权益放在工作首位,从解决农民工最关心、最直接、最现实利益问题入手,努力改善其进城就业环境,切实保护其合法权益,让来厦农民工如沐春风,安居乐业,成为厦门市留得安心、留得快乐的新市民。
