宝丰县农牧局为了适应商品经济发展之急需,根据省市农牧部门意见。针对部分郏县红牛后躯发育欠佳,背腰结合不良的缺陷,确定了以本品种选育为主。结合导入外血进行杂交改良的育种方向。第1步导入丹麦红牛血液(1/2~1/4)进行杂交改良,第2步用杂交后代进行横交固定和科学选育良种,使其后代在保持被毛紫红、适应性强、耐粗饲、遗传稳定等优良特性前提下,增大体型,后躯发达,背腰平直。产肉量和经济效益明显提高,培育出国内新的肉役兼用型良种牛。 Baofeng County Bureau of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in order to adapt to the urgent need for the development of commodity economy, according to provincial and municipal departments of agriculture and animal husbandry.
