核物理学家。女。1912年6月26日生于上海,原籍湖北武昌。1934年毕业于燕京大学物理系。1944年获美国密执安州立大学物理学博士学位。1980年当选为中国科学院学部委员(院士)。曾任中国科学院物理研究所研究员,中国核工业总公司研究员,605所副所长。早期从事气体分子运动论的理论研究,并有创新成就。1961年后遵从国家需要改做铀同位素分离工作并任有关设备研制的总设计师,解决了净化级联计算、级联的定态和动态计算等重大课题,为中国第一座铀浓缩气体扩散工厂分批启动作出重要贡献。为中国铀同位素分离理论研究奠定了基础。1978年获全国科学大会奖。1994年6月18日逝世于北京。
Nuclear physicist Female. Born on June 26, 1912 in Shanghai, originally from Wuchang, Hubei Province. 1934 graduated from Yanjing University Department of Physics. 1944 Ph.D. in Physics, Michigan State University. In 1980 was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (academician). Former Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher, China Nuclear Industry Corporation researcher, 605 deputy director. Early in the theoretical study of gas molecular motion theory, and innovative achievements. After 1961, the chief architect who changed the need of uranium isotope separation and worked on the development of equipment was abided by the need of the country, which solved the major problems of purification cascade calculation, cascade determination of steady state and dynamic calculation, and so on for the first proliferation of uranium enriched gas in China Factories started in batches to make an important contribution. It laid the foundation for the theoretical study of uranium isotope separation in China. In 1978 won the National Science Conference Award. June 18, 1994 passed away in Beijing.
