美国的“硅谷”成为发展知识经济的典型以来,知识经济已在全世界范围内兴起,专家们预见下世纪将会有巨大发展。知识经济新时代正为我们提供新的机遇和挑战。面对这知识化和全球化的大浪潮,我们必须从四个方面努力:大力培育高新技术产业;培养优秀的跨世纪人才队伍;加大技术创新的力度;增强本国民族工业的竞争力。如此,才能发展我国的知识经济,才能在国际竞争中站稳脚跟。
Since the “Silicon Valley” in the United States has become a typical example of the development of a knowledge-based economy, the knowledge-based economy has emerged all over the world. Experts predict that there will be a tremendous development in the next century. The new era of knowledge economy is offering us new opportunities and challenges. In the face of this tide of knowledge and globalization, we must work hard in four areas: vigorously fostering high-tech industries; fostering outstanding cross-century talented people; intensifying technological innovation; and enhancing the competitiveness of our national industry. Only in this way can we develop our knowledge economy in order to gain a foothold in the international competition.
