未来,互联网将持续对印刷业产生深远的影响,通过网络印刷系统进行印刷作业提交、作业审核以及作业跟踪会变得日趋平常。据美国InfoTrends公司预计,在美国商业印刷的总产值中,网络印刷所占的比例将从2009年的15%增加到2014年的30%,而2000年网络印刷在美国商业印刷总产值中所占的比例还不到3%,10年间这一比例增长了5倍。预计到2014年,在美国1070亿美元的商业印刷总产值中,将会有310亿美元来自网络印刷,如图1所示。
In the future, the Internet will continue to have a profound impact on the printing industry. Printing jobs submitted through network printing systems, job audits and job tracking will become more commonplace. According to InfoTrends Inc. of the United States, it is estimated that in the total output value of commercial printing in the United States, the proportion of network printing will increase from 15% in 2009 to 30% in 2014, while network printing accounted for the total commercial printing output in the United States in 2000 Less than 3%, a five-fold increase over the 10-year period. It is estimated that by 2014, there will be 31 billion U.S. dollars of commercial printing output in the United States coming from network printing, as shown in Figure 1.
