《世经堂词钞》为徐旭旦及身编定。其中有五十九首词或整体、或部分与同时代的十八位词人的对应词作雷同。本文通过对徐旭旦与毛际可、丁澎、吴绮、林云铭四人基本雷同的十五首词作的考辨,确证这些词的原作者不是徐旭旦,而是徐氏抄袭了这些词或词句,进而认定徐旭旦对另外十四位词人的四十四首词作也存在不同程度的抄袭。这一现象的揭密,为判定徐旭旦的套曲《冬闺寄情》、《旧院有感》系分别抄袭孔尚任《桃花扇》中的《寄扇》、《馀韵》出套曲提供了新的证据。
