I. INTRODUCTION The evaluation of surrounding rock stability is an important part of the design of underground cavern support (or lining) and has always been valued by engineers and technicians. Because many tunnels need to pass through weak rock formations or are built in a wide range of such rock formations, the elasto-plastic analysis methods used in the calculation of the surrounding rock stability have been used more and more in the past decade. For a long period of time until now, many people have conducted excessive research work on the elasto-plastic calculation of surrounding rock in underground caverns and have also obtained valuable results. However, most of these studies are limited to axisymmetric loads (ie, λ=P_H/P_v=1).
