从上世纪的80年代中期到今天,比较文学在中国的复兴已走过了20多年。趁世纪之交,适时地进行一些回顾和总结,应该说对学科的健康发展和进一步建设都是十分必要的。正是在这种形势下,有鉴于教材编写及其它方面的不尽如人意处,王向远先生锐意创新,前不久推出了他所著的《比较文学学科新论》(江西教育出版社2002年版)。这也是一部教材,但在写法上则如作者“后记”所言,又有意写成一部学术著作,追求的是独到的见解和心得。读后觉得全书文字简明,要言不繁,确实颇有创获。
From the mid-1980s to the present day, the revival of comparative literature in China has been going on for more than 20 years. At the turn of the century, it is necessary to conduct some reviews and summaries in a timely manner. It should be said that it is necessary for the healthy development of the discipline and its further construction. It is in this situation, in view of the teaching materials and other aspects of the unsatisfactory, Mr. Wang Xiangyuan committed to innovation, recently introduced his “new theory of comparative literature” (Jiangxi Education Press, 2002 edition). This is also a textbook, but in writing, as the author postscript, it also intends to write an academic book, is the pursuit of unique insights and experiences. After reading the book that concise text, to say not complicated, indeed quite a record.
