Two open loop furnaces operated by Nolander Aluminum are producing about 90,000 tonnes of prebaked anodes. The furnace structure, flame system and furnace performance are shown in Table 1. Each oven has 36 oven compartments, each with 6 hoppers (196 in. Length, 150 in. In depth and 28 in. In width). Each hopper is divided into four levels for a total of eight 20-inch anode.
