在二十多年的教学实践中,广大应用文写作教学教师、教学管理者和业界人士在理论与实践两方面积极探索,取得了可喜成绩,为提高我国的应用文教学水平,提高高校毕业生的综合素质与能力作出了贡献。但就现状来看,高校毕业生的应用文写作能力还不能满足社会的要求,我们的应用文写作教学水平还不高。如何提高应用文写作教学的有效性仍然是摆在应用文写作教师和教学管理者面前的课题。当前,应用文写作教学中存在的主要问题有:
