Lost Paradise is a representative poem written by John Milton, a famous British poet in the 17th century. Since its publication, Lost Paradise has been regarded as one of the few epic poems in the Western world that can not be attained. Understanding the rich metaphorical expression in the Psalms is the key to appreciating this epic.
