一、地方中小矿山的现状 近几年由于市场需要和政策效应使地方中小铁矿业迅速崛起,成为我国钢铁工业原料供应的一支重要力量。1983年到1987年的五年中,全国地方中小铁矿山矿石产量共增长2600万吨,每年平均增长520万吨,地方中小铁矿石产量占全国铁矿石总产量的比例由1982年的四分之一左右上升到三分之一以上。正是地方中小矿山的发展,在很大程度上弥补了由于重点铁矿山新增能力不多,钢铁工业每年递增300万吨钢所需矿石量的不足。地方中小铁矿山的兴起和发展,为有资源而又相对贫困的山区人民开辟了一条致富门路,采矿业的兴起也带动了一些其它行业的发展,促进了地区经济的繁荣。
