Lakvar - Wei Ya West project, located in India’s Uttar Pradesh on the river. With a total installed capacity of 420,000 KW, it will provide 1.084 billion kWh of electricity to the national grid every year. The planned two peaking power stations will increase the hydropower capacity developed on the river by a factor of 2.2. The Lakavir-Veya project consists of a 204-m-high concrete gravity dam built in Lakval, a 300,000-KW underground power station on the right bank of the river, a concrete gravity dam with a height of 88 meters and built in Vieja, 7.0m long 2700m diversion tunnel; 120,000 KW installed Hassi Ali ground power station and built in Katapasar barrage. According to nearly 70 years of observation, the flow of the Muamuna River varies from 25 m 3 / s to 3150 m 3 / s.
