农村留守儿童的出现是我国城市化发展进程中的必然现象,开县约有50%的儿童属于留守儿童,他们与其他同龄儿童相比,有着较为艰难的学习和生活环境,属社会中的弱势群体。而图书馆属于公共文化服务平台,拥有丰富的文化资源,如何利用本地区公共图书馆资源来满足农村留守儿童的文化需求,是图书馆人应积极思考的问题和应尽的职责。公共图书馆结合本地区实际情况并借助其他公共服务平台给予留守儿童更多﹑更广的关爱,将有利于留守儿童的健康成长。
The emergence of left-behind children in rural areas is an inevitable phenomenon in the process of urbanization in our country. About 50% of children in Kai County belong to left-behind children. Compared with other children of the same age, they have a rather difficult learning and living environment and are the disadvantaged groups in society . The library belongs to the public cultural service platform and has rich cultural resources. How to use the resources of public libraries in the region to meet the cultural needs of left-behind children in rural areas is a problem that libraries should think actively and should fulfill their duties. Public libraries combined with the actual situation in the region and with other public service platforms to give more and more care to left-behind children will be conducive to the healthy growth of left-behind children.
