18年,救助两万多个孤儿,他一直坚守在关爱艾滋遗孤的路上,他便是著名的香港慈善家杜聪。2017年2月1日,杜聪接受了本刊特约记者的专访。哈佛大学硕士毕业的他,原本是美国华尔街一位出色的银行家。但他却放弃优越的生活,来到中国农村,投身艾滋遗孤的救助公益事业中,陆续在多个省市成立了13个“智行基金会”分社。如今,他已资助了两万多个孤儿,他们有的正在国内外大学深造,有的已经成家立业。他说:“帮助他们其实是我的荣幸,我们是互相成全和成就的。”
In 18 years, more than 20,000 orphans have been bailed out. He has always adhered to the path of loving AIDS orphans. He is the famous Hong Kong philanthropist Du Cong. On February 1, 2017, Du Cong accepted an exclusive interview with our correspondent. He graduated from Harvard with a master’s degree and was originally a brilliant banker on Wall Street in the United States. However, he gave up his superior life and came to China’s rural areas to join AIDS relief orphan aid in public welfare undertakings. In succession, he set up 13 “Chi Heng Foundation” branch offices in a number of provinces and cities. Today, he has funded more than 20,000 orphans, some of whom are studying at universities both at home and abroad, some of whom are already married. He said: “To help them is actually my honor, we are each other and achievements.”
