In order to promote the application of the images of China’s scientific exploration and technology test satellites (referred to as China’s satellite) for greater social and economic benefits, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry organized the topic of “Research on the Correction and Processing of Satellite Images in China”. Aerospace Ministry of 503, 710, 207, Beijing Institute of Aviation Image Processing Center, Harbin Institute of Technology Radio Department, after more than a year of efforts to complete their respective digital image correction software. These general-purpose softwares are characterized by high speed, high precision and strong portability. They can not only be used for geometric correction of satellite images in China, but also for geometric correction of other remote sensing images of spaceflight.
