1、前言光通信线路的传输容量主要取决于光纤维的脉冲响应特性。多模光纤维其本质是模式数量很多,脉冲响应特性决定于纤维的折射率分布,高次模的吸收及模式变换。而按脉冲响应特性来决定使用带宽的评价方法远未明确确定。这是因为光纤维内传输模式的激励相当复杂,尚不能充分把握住入射到纤维中的脉冲波形和模式的激励状态。
1, Foreword The transmission capacity of the optical communication line mainly depends on the impulse response characteristic of the optical fiber. The nature of multimode fiber is a large number of modes. The impulse response depends on the refractive index distribution of the fiber, the absorption of the higher mode, and the mode transition. The method of evaluating the bandwidth used by impulse response is far from clear. This is because the excitation in the optical fiber transmission mode is quite complicated, and the pulse wave form and the mode excitation state incident on the fiber can not be sufficiently grasped.
