当前,科技人员担任管理工作成了一种时尚。教授,工程师,科学家等从自己工作的领域中走向管理岗位的报道不断见诸于极端。这一方面固然体现了我们党的落实知识分子政策,同时也是我们实现干部“四化”的一个标志,值得拍手称快的。但是,对于某些科技人员来说,如果他们不同时具备一定的管理能力,或者即使有一定的管理能力,但他们在自己的专业领域内有较深的造诣,是本专业的行家里手。在这种情况下再将他们由技术职位选拔到管理职位是极不合适的。依个人之见,盲目地让科技人员担任管理工作是不妥的。
At present, science and technology personnel as a management has become a fashion. Reports of professors, engineers, scientists and others moving from management positions in their own work continue to be seen at extremes. On the one hand, it embodies our party’s policy of implementing the intellectuals and at the same time it marks the realization of the “four modernizations” in our cadres. It deserves to be applauded. However, for some scientific and technical personnel, if they do not have certain management skills at the same time, or even have some management skills, but they have deep attainments in their own fields of expertise, is a professional expert. In these circumstances, it is highly inappropriate to select them again from technical positions to managerial positions. According to personal opinion, it is not proper to blindly let scientific and technical personnel take charge of management.
