为加快蕉城区马铃薯新品种的更新换代步伐,提高良种覆盖率和品种的优质率。我区于2008年开始引进中薯3号品种,在冬季与本地当家品种紫花851进行对比试种,经过3年的试种,表现产量高、品质优、商品薯率高、适应性较广等特点,适宜在我区推广种植。该品种是中国农业科学院蔬菜花卉研究所选育的品种,于2008年通过福建省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
