流行性腮腺炎多流行于儿童及青年中,以春、冬两季最盛,一旦流行,累及甚广。自实行义务兵役制以来,大量农民入伍,易感染者增加,更易引起流行。我院自1955年12月至1957年2月,共收容本病患者230例,分析如下: 发病季节:以56年2—6月最多,占81％,与陈氏、魏氏之观察一致。仅1956年的215例中,春季患者77例,夏季118例,秋季14例,冬季6例。取别:老战士48咧、军官12例、义务兵152例,共占92.2％,其他有家属、护士等共18人(7.8％)。性别与年龄:除五例为女性外,皆为男性。17岁以下者13例,18—23岁者172例(74.7％),24—30岁者42例,31岁以上者三例。
Mumps is more prevalent among children and youth and is the most vigorous in spring and winter when it is endemic. Since the implementation of the compulsory military service system, a large number of peasants have joined the army and the number of vulnerable people has increased, making it even more prevalent. Thirteen patients were under 17 years of age, 172 (74.7%) were between 18 and 23 years of age, 42 were from 24 to 30, and three were over 31 years of age.
