Alun Poe’s detective novels “Trilogy ” are based on Dubin protagonist, pioneering a detective novel. The transcendentalism, through which the soul intuitively acquires the truth, is deeply implicit in Dubin’s thoughts and actions and constitutes the main element of Dubin’s sacred faith. This sacred affirmation of man makes Dubin, in defiance of external authority and tradition, relies on his own intuition and experience and emphasizes the subjective initiative, authority and sanctification of mankind, which is a positive step forward. However, at the same time, the deified Doberman could not get rid of the social background at that time. Therefore, his secular motive for solving the crime made his investigation method above the law and morality. Therefore, in Alan Poe’s detective novels, Dubin untangled a mystery case, but also triggered the readers torture of human nature and moral crimes, and then start a more far-reaching humanistic thinking.
