In 19th century Britain, industrial capitalism entered its heyday when it coincided with the Victorian era, so 19th-century British literature was also called the Victorian literary era. During this time, the novel has become the main stream of literature, a large number of excellent critical realist novels have emerged, and the various social problems and contradictions in the industrial capitalism in Great Britain have been concentrated. During this period, the entire European realism entered the most prosperous stage. The Bronte sisters, Charles Dickinson, Bernard Shaw, and Thomas Hardy were the famous realist novelists of this period. This article makes an in-depth study on the intrinsic relationship between literary translation and aesthetics in Anglo-American literary works in the 19th century.
