在1975年的CIMAC会议上介绍了用于海军舰艇的、平均有效压力达3.0MPa的PA6型发动机。该型发动机采用二级增压系统,为了降低发动机机械应力,压缩比降低到8.5。在台架上进行的耐久性试验和初步的运用结果表明,在高负荷下运行完全没有问题,而部分负荷和空转工况却有待改进。存在的主要问题是:部分负荷时燃烧粗暴;空转工况时冒白烟。前者通过 SEMT Piel-stick 开发的具有独特结构的喷油泵柱塞预喷少量燃油而得到解决;后者可通过切断一列气缸喷油而得到解决。
At the 1975 CIMAC meeting, a PA6 engine for naval vessels with an average effective pressure of 3.0 MPa was introduced. The engine uses a two-stage booster system, in order to reduce engine mechanical stress, the compression ratio is reduced to 8.5. Durability tests and preliminary results on the bench show that there is no problem with running at high loads and that part load and idling conditions need to be improved. The main problems are: rough burning at partial load; white smoke when idling. The former is solved with a unique fuel injection pump plunger developed by SEMT Piel-stick to pre-spray a small amount of fuel; the latter can be solved by cutting a cylinder of fuel.
