In today’s society, entertainment programs in the new era are gradually generating important influence, receiving wide attention from the audience and generating many unique characteristics. For the traditional program system, the moderator’s role is no longer a simple communicator, but is gradually leading the scene, the intrinsic mechanism of its own to the complex level of sound and picture. This new and changing feature, along with the psychological changes in China’s current society, has given the moderators more room for freeing up and is attached to the process of on-the-spot hosting in a comfortable manner. This dissertation, through the exploration of the change of characters, restores the development pattern of contemporary Chinese entertainment programs, shows the theoretical significance of constructing a research model of cultural psychology, and provides new academic thinking and theoretical understanding for the related research on entertainment program hosting in the future.
