2015年12月5日至14日,“白云之路——吴虚弢绘画作品展”亮相中国人民大学艺术学院美术馆。给自己的画展取名为白云之路,吴虚弢表示,是为了纪念。曾经有一个德国人,名叫Ernst Lothar Hoffmann。他在18岁时皈依了佛教,并于1931年时辗转来到了印度加入了藏传佛教,人称他为“高文达喇嘛”(Lama Anagarika Govinda)。同时作为画家和诗人,他曾写过一本自传《白云之路》,讲述的是他追寻真理的过程,给后世、特别是西方世界产生了深远的影响。为了纪念这样的人、以及这样一种一种对生命的态度,以及自己一位已逝
From December 5 to December 14, 2015, “Road to Baiyin - Painting Exhibition of Wu Xutao” was unveiled at Art Museum of Renmin University of China. To his own exhibition named Baiyun Road, Wu said, is to commemorate. There was once a German named Ernst Lothar Hoffmann. He converted to Buddhism when he was 18 and moved to India in 1931 to join Tibetan Buddhism, calling him “Lama Anagarika Govinda.” At the same time, as an artist and poet, he wrote an autobiography “the road to the white clouds”, telling him the process of pursuing the truth and having a profound impact on the future generations, especially the Western world.
